Meet Jo

Field Soft Furnishings and Upholstery grew from a lifelong passion for making, designing and creating. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Art, Design and Media at University, I got a position within a high-end manufacturing and furnishings company in Cheltenham, where I learnt my trade from the floor up.

In 2000, I relocated back to my hometown, Brighton, where I started my independent upholstery and soft furnishings business. My industry background means I can envision and fabricate designs for any style and specifications – from bespoke banquette seating and modern fluted headboards to more traditional deep buttoned ottomans.
